This year's theme is about supporting the worker patients we see as well as ourselves as we take care of others. Travel, whether done for work or for leisure, has dangers associated with it. The resources for preparing ourselves to see our patients, be mindful of our impact as we travel, and to protect ourselves from the hazards that can result from travel and patient care is the motivation behind curating our courses.
The WOHC planning committee, led by Chair Dr. Sonya Meyers and Vice Chair Dr. Eric Woods, has planned a diverse and innovative program with plenty of opportunities to interact and network. The broad range of offerings, with many notable speakers, are sure to appeal to a wide variety of interests no matter what the area of focus in OEM.
