Zaira Chaudhry, MD, MPH

Dr. Zaira Chaudhry is dual trained in Occupational and Environmental Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine. She earned her medical degree at the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine and her Master of Public Health degree at the University of New England. She completed her residency training at Loma Linda University Medical Center and holds board certification in Occupational and Environmental Medicine through the American Board of Preventive Medicine. Dr. Chaudhry has both clinical and administrative experience with workers’ compensation systems at the state and federal levels. She provides advisory and consulting services on medicolegal matters, including causation analysis, permanent impairment evaluation, and disability management.

Dr. Chaudhry has also authored and contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications to advance the practice of evidence-based medicine. Her current research focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and OEM, emphasizing human factors and system interactions to support the ethical, responsible, and effective integration of AI into OEM practice. She has served on various committees and councils through the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention/National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. Dr. Chaudhry is deeply committed to advancing the field of OEM and supporting initiatives that promote occupational health, workplace safety, and employee well-being.
