I am a retired Navy physician with over 28 years of active duty, with experience at various levels of government as well as academe. Double boarded in preventive medicine and occupational medicine, I am also trained in field epidemiology by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer aka disease detective. I have worked with healthcare organizations across the United States as well as in the global health arena.
I am currently a DoD civilian as the Agency Surgeon for the Defense POW MIA Accounting Agency, serving as their medical advisor in the search for lost service members across the globe. My clinical duties are at Tripler Army Medical Center.
