In July 2009, the Institute of Medical Quality (IMQ)
subsidiary of the California Medical Association (CMA), awarded WOEMA
accreditation in Continuing Medical Education (CME). WOEMA fulfilled
the requirements of accreditation and is an approved provider of CME
Programs through July 31, 2011. The accreditation was presented by Dev
A. GnanaDev, MD, President, California Medical Association and Carol
Havens, Chair, Committee on Continuing Medical Education. The IMQ
accredits California-based hospitals, ambulatory care clinics,
specialty societies, health plans, and other health care organizations
on a voluntary basis to offer AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.
